Image Plus Laser Eye Centre is a premium eye care facility. We pride ourselves on four key distinctions:
- 1. Dr. James Wiens. Dr. Wiens, MD, FRCSC, is the owner and Medical Director of Image Plus Laser Eye Centre. He has performed over 12,000 laser eye surgeries in his Winnipeg facility with a history of exceptional results.
- 2. Dr. Guillermo Rocha, MD, FRCSC, is the owner and Medical Director of The GRMC Eye Centre in Brandon. He has extensive knowledge and experience not only with laser vision correction, but with other refractive procedures including Intacs, collagen cross-linking, and Visian ICL’s. Dr. Rocha and Dr. Wiens have collaborated for over 14 years in providing care for their patients.
- 3. Technology. At Image Plus, every procedure is blade-free. We use iLasikTM which is approved by Health Canada, the FDA and used by NASA and the U.S. Military.

MEET OUR SURGEONS James J. Wiens, MD, FRCSC
Dr. James J. Wiens is the owner and Medical Director of Image Plus Laser Eye Centre. His primary focus is to ensure that you are provided with all the information you need to make an educated decision about laser vision correction. There are several options. He will work with you to determine the treatment that will meet your vision needs and desires, whiles maximizing effectiveness and safety.
Dr. Guillermo Rocha, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Rocha currently resides in Brandon, Manitoba. Here he provides surgical and medical eye care services to the Westman region. He is Medical Director of GRMC Vision Centre, active Medical Staff in the Brandon Regional Health Centre and Minnedosa District Hospital, and Attending Surgeon at Image Plus Laser Eye Centre in Winnipeg.
