IntraLase
Image Plus surgeon, Dr. Wiens, was the first in Western Canada to use IntraLase, a computer-controlled laser used to create a corneal flap, the critical first step in the LASIK procedure. Safer because IntraLase® is blade-free, it reduces the majority of complications associated with traditional blade procedures.
Personalized treatment IntraLase allows your surgeon to tailor the procedure for each individual patient and each individual eye. Because of its more consistent accuracy, IntraLase may make Lasik an option for patients who previously wouldn’t have been good candidates for laser eye surgery.
