Studies show that 98% of patients undergoing CustomVue correction improve their vision to 20/20 or better while maintaining or improving their night vision, depending on the prescription.

The VISX® Star S4 IR Excimer laser, guided by Advanced CustomVueTM WaveFront, reshapes the corneal tissue with a series of cool, computer-controlled laser pulses. Each pulse reshapes a microscopic layer. The total laser time is usually no more than 60 seconds, typically removing 10 to 15 percent of the cornea.

Once completed, the flap is gently repositioned. The flap will securely adhere within two to three minutes. The surgical procedure is then complete. After resting a short while, drops will be administered to the patient who can then go home and continue healing.
