James J. Wiens, M.D., FRCSC., medical director
James J. Wiens, M.D., FRCSC, is the medical director and owner of Image Plus Laser Eye Centre and has been performing laser vision correction since 1994. He was the first ophthalmologist to offer IntraLase®, 100% blade free LASIK, in Western Canada. He is personally involved in selecting the laser technology used at Image Plus, and will only invest in lasers with a proven track record of safety and effectiveness.

Guillermo Rocha, M.D., FRCSC
Guillermo Rocha, M.D., FRCSC. has been intensely involved in both basic and clinical research, in the areas of corneal wound healing, refractive surgery, ocular immunology and corneal graft rejection. He has presented his work on refractive and therapeutic excimer laser surgery, LASIK, Holmium Laser Thermokeratoplasty and correction of astigmatism and numerous meetings.

Daniel Chin, M.D., FRCSC
Daniel Chin, M.D., FRCSC. completed his ophthalmology residency at McGill University in 1991. This was followed by a year of fellowship in cornea and external diseases at McGill University in 1992. He is currently in private practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His practice is focused on cataract surgery, corneal transplants and laser vision correction. Dr. Chin has been performing laser vision correction at IMAGE PLUS Laser Eye Centre since 1994.

IMAGE PLUS Vision Correction Team
Our trained Image Plus staff are honored to be part of your laser vision correction experience. All the staff at Image Plus are certified in first aid and CPR. We pride ourselves in keeping up with our certifications and training by attending continuing education courses, seminars, and conferences on laser eye surgery.
When you come to Image Plus, you will notice that almost all of the staff members will not be wearing corrective lenses. They would be happy to discuss their experience having laser vision correction at Image Plus with you. Ask them how laser vision correction changed the way they see their world.
