Eye Exam

A thorough eye examination is required either before or after your complimentary assessment. This may be done with your eye doctor or arranged with an IMAGE PLUS eye doctor. At this examination, your glasses prescription will be checked, along with your best possible vision with glasses. Your eyes will be examined to detect conditions that might require treatment prior to laser vision correction or that might make these procedures inappropriate for you.

At your consultation, laser vision correction or other possible options will be discussed. Any questions you have will be answered. If you have not previously had a personal assessment before your consultation, we require that several tests be done. These include mapping the shape of your eye (corneal topography), measuring your pupil size, measuring the thickness of your cornea, measuring your tear production, and creating a custom wavefront map of your eyes. These, along with your eye examination, will determine your suitability for laser vision correction.
